team REDEE, a student venture cum community is today serving different engineering collges throughout the nation with its innovative, effective and powerful projects.
Every year more than 6lac students join one or the other engineering insitute in India, with a such a big number it is very difficult to communicate with all of them, team REDEEprojects focuses on this issue and take up projects to enable such a thing.
We at team REDEE, aim at providing the student communitywith oppurtunities and latest ongoings in various engineering colleges throughout the country.

Our Story

team REDEE was founded by Anshul Goyal and Sanya Gupta of the University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh in September 2010.
Just after a few days they stepped into their new home for the coming four years, they felt that the college with more than 2200 students was divided and had in desperate need of something that could integrate them together and let a proper flow of information through them and soon UIET-NEWS, the first ever project of team REDEE was born. The concept was to make use of existing messaging services and create an SMS Channel that carried important information to all the subscribers via short SMSes on time and led to a visible increase in audience response for the various college events.
Today, we have decided to expand and spread our ideas throughout the country and let others make use of the same and hence we invite interested freshmen who are willing to spend a few minutes a day and lead the team in their respective institutions.

Current Projects

Currently we are working exclusively on SMS News Channels in different engineering colleges.
The concept is to use existing resources and create SMS channels in the institutes's name to which the respective students can subscribe to and get news items flashed on their mobile devices via SMS.
Different representatives, specifically assigned fr a particular college collect news items for their respective college.
The idea also enables users from one institute to effectively target users from other institutes for news that is relates to inter college activities.
